Languages I’m going to focus on

Here are the 3 languages I’ll be focussing on for the rest of my career:

JavaScript: Because it is ushering in a revolution for web programming.
Erlang: Because it scales linearly with cores, is fault-tolerant, and is the wisest language around. See Evan Miller’s post on why he programs in Erlang.
Python: Because it is suited for almost everything. Be it scripting, web programming or scientific work, Python will have me covered.

Other ones to have in my repertoire would be Java, C, R and Elixir.
